Leif Ericson 04:53
I turn to see a fading shore. (We bid farewell, we bid thee farewell). We depart Greenland and all we adore. (We bid farewell, we bid thee farewell). Following rumour's path, we have set forth, strange lands await brave men of the north. Into the horizon, our bearing: south-west. (Let wind blow, Let the wind blow). With thirty-five sailors at my behest. (Let wind blow, Let the wind blow). Into the unknown and ever far, guided by the light of the Northern Star. Over the raging ocean. Under a thundering sky. Our eyes on the horizon. To discover, or to die? In the distance, I see an approaching shore. (Chase the new world, chase the new world). My name shall live on like my father's before. (Chase the new world, chase the new world). For centuries to come they shall tell tales, of history we made in Vinland's green vales.

Four small heroes, feeling brave and free, set out for the town of Bree. At noon, they slept on the Barrow-Downs near a stone reaching from the ground. When they awoke the sun hadn't long, and the Downs were covered with fog. They had to get out 'ere the end of day, but couldn't seem to find their way. Cold be hand and heart and bone, and cold be sleep under stone. No more to wake on stony bed, never, til Sun and Moon are dead. Don't stop to rest and don't make a sound, when there's fog on the Barrow Downs! Keep to the west if you chance on a mound, evil lurks on the Barrow Downs! This land is threatened by a fearful enemy, strong these heroes must remain! Get out, you old wight! Vanish in the sunlight! Never come back here again! The ring-bearer called his companions on, but he turned and and they were gone. He was taken and woke in a pale green light, in the lair of a Barrow-wight. His friends, now succumbed to a spell of old, lay helpless and adorned with gold. A long arm danced to a song of death, and a sword lay across their necks. In black wind the stars will die, and still be gold here let them lie. Til the Dark Lord lifts his hand, over dead sea and withered land.

We Ride Away 04:46
Dawn reaches out to this heart of mine, to greet the new sun in the eastern sky. Eyes open up with a helpless cry, and.... ....we ride away! We ride away! Deep through the woods and over mountains tall. Up through the clouds where the eagles soar, Down into the rapids where the waters roar, and.... ....we ride away! We ride away! We ride away at the break of day! We ride away! We ride away.... Ride, we will ride, and we will never falter. On through the night, through shadowed land! Fight, we will fight, until the journey is over. On through the night, through shadowed land! Through the dark of caves where sun never shines, Into deadly swaps and over deserts dry, Though rain and sleet and snow come falling from sky..... ....we ride away! We ride away! Dusk reaches out to this this heart of mine, I’ll meet with the sun in the western sky. When the day has ended I will dim my eyes, and.... ....we ride away! We ride away! We ride away at the break of day! We ride away! We ride away....

Når trollmor har lagt sine elleve små troll, og bundet dem fast i svansen. da synger hun sakte for elleve små troll, de vakreste ord hun kjenner; Ho aj aj aj aj boff. Ho aj aj aj aj boff. Ho aj aj aj aj boff, boff! Ho aj aj aj aj boff.

I'm not afraid of hard work, Be it rain, snow or shine. All I need is my axe, And a nice big pine. No job too hard for me, Be it willow, gum or fir. Just show me to the tree, And I will yell, “timber!" It’s a hard and heavy job, But a lumberjack is strong. The trees are no match for my great big arms. I'm tired, cold, and hungry, But the forest is my bed. It keeps a woodsman warm, And keeps it keeps his belly fed, As I eat up all the animals, And make ale from my sweat. Well the woodsmen all are singing. And our axes all are swinging. My hands are big and hard and strong and callused. I’ve only got one leg, And I just lost an eye, In a fight with a bear, And a sasquatch.

Spirits of the forest, Of water, earth and sky. Can you hear their ancient cry? Not of the enslaved, But the wild and strong. Have you heard their ancient song? It spoke of a future, Where things go very wrong. An end to their ancient song. The path has now been cleared, The life that was has died, And so has their ancient cry. For when the prophets of profit, Built mansions to the clouds.... The song was.... Heard no more, seen no more Progress in a destructive form! Heard no more, seen no more Mankind is an intrusive force! Concrete jungles, The roar of the machine, The power of industry. They prayed unto the market, “Cure all that is wrong”, And ignored the ancient song. They squandered it daily, They used it all too fast, And progress couldn't last. Man will find a way, For man can do no wrong. Have you heard their ancient song? And so the prophets of profit, Built their mansions to the clouds.... And now are.... Heard no more, seen no more Progress in a destructive form! Heard no more, seen no more A lifeless land, an empty core, Progress in a destructive form! A silent world and nothing more!

about

"Made In My Bedroom" is, as the name suggests, a home-made E.P. It contains tales of explorers, creepy Barrow-wights, the journey we call life....and a Scandinavian lullaby.

about

Ceolskog Hamilton, New Zealand

Ceolskog is the folk metal project of Adam Helliwell, a singer and guitarist from New Zealand. Ceolskog's style is a cross between traditional folk music, particularly Celtic and Nordic, and heavy metal.

Ceol means music in Irish, and skog means forest in Norwegian. Although a solo project for now, it will hopefully become an entire band in the future.
